Courage. Resilience. Strength. These are just a few characteristics that describe the more than 14 million cancer survivors across America. These words describe those who have won their fight against cancer, and also those who fought courageously and with dignity.
As our community comes together on Sunday, June 4, join Lutheran Medical Center and Cancer Centers of Colorado for our 10th Anniversary Run/Walk and National Cancer Survivors Day® Celebration. After 10 fun-filled years, Lutheran is proud to announce our new race name and logo: Heroes of Hope.
Celebrate with survivors, help to inspire those who are recently diagnosed, support the families who have lost their loved ones to cancer and be a Hero of Hope in our community. Over the last 10 years, this annual race has raised more than $300,000 to support cancer services at Lutheran Medical Center.
By registering to run, walk or just to have fun, you help to provide patient navigation, genetic counseling, humanitarian funds for un- and underinsured patients, advanced technology, specialized training for staff to enhance patient safety and so much more.
Register today to participate in the 5K run/walk, 10K run or 1-mile walk for this annual dog- and stroller-friendly race. Visit lutheranheroesofhope.org to become a hero, and share your courage against cancer.
